This is a celebratory and unplanned post! Today I have been officially shortlisted as a finalist in the Global EdTech Awards in the Most impactful teacher – Secondary/FE category!
This is in recognition to all that I have published on this platform; am developing on the TDNI.org platform; adminstrate on Facebook (NI ICT Teachers), as well as a number of projects I have overseen in school (CyberFirst Bronze status, Digital Schools Applications, Code club, eSports) with more in development!
It will no doubt be a career highlight to be shortlisted in this category, but as there is still so much to do and so much more that I have planned for, this is really only the end of the beginning.
The award ceremony will be hosted on YouTube on the 22nd June at 7:00 pm (BST). While I have no clue how that evening will play out, but it will certainly be an evening to remember! If you’re free and/or interested, why not join us online?!
